Vegetto (Diesel) and I are hosting a 50 person lan party as a fund raiser for the Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company. All money raised will be donated to the fire company. This is a "test" lan to see if this will be a viable fundraiser. If this is successful then we will be able to do this on a frequent basis with more people, games, and prizes.
When: 6:00 p.m. Friday April 9th to 6:00 p.m. Friday April 10th.
Where: The banquet hall at the Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 - 4188 Lehigh Drive - Cherryville PA, 18035
Price: $25 in advance $30 at the door. Unlimited fountain drinks will be provided for $5.
What to bring:
* Computer
* Monitor - LCD preferred, if you are bringing a CRT please notify us in advance. If you have to have multiple monitors there is an additional charge for each monitor. This is due to the extra space and power requirements.
* Mouse & mouse pad
* Keyboard
* Power cables
* Headset - Do not bring speakers!
* network cable*
* Surge Strip*
* Driver's license or photo id - This will be required at check-in.
* Money - Cash is preferred method of payment for the registration fee and it never hurts to have some extra cash when traveling.
*Depending on how much extra money we have in our budget we may be providing this. Bring it just to be on the safe side.
Games: All games are for the PC.

Make sure that you have updates for all of your games, not just the ones listed, it's never good to show up to a lan and spend half of it updating games. We will do our best to have patches on local servers but we can not get everything.
Food and Drinks:
* For $5 you can purchase unlimited fountain drinks (Pepsi, Mt. Dew, Root beer, Sierra Mist, Diet Pepsi and Lipton Iced Tea)
* Light Snacks will be provided free of charge (Chips, Pretzels)
* Foods such as pizza, wings, etc will be available
Rules and restrictions:
* **No One Under 18 Years Old** I know that age doesn't equal maturity but this was done for two reasons: 1) The lan is considered an official Fire company event, as such having minors present would required additional paper work and legal stuff (parental consent, insurance, etc) and unfortunately we do not have the time. 2) Most companies that actively sponsor lan parties require photos of the event to be sent in that can be used for advertising purposes. As previously mentioned this creates legal issues that we don't have the time to work with for this lan. I apologize if this prevents you from attending.
* No Weapons (large knives, guns, swords, rocket launchers, etc) will be allowed, leave them at home.
* Provide your own transportation. I know this is obvious but it is up to you to get there whether it be driving or finding a ride from someone.
* Make sure you have a up to date anti-virus program and run a scan before coming to the lan. If you think you might have a virus please make sure it is removed before you connect to the network.
* Alcohol is not allowed.
* Don't be an ass. Everyone is here to have fun and I know that we all have our nerd rage moments (especially when playing HoN) but know when to stop.
* Harassment, assault, theft, etc will not be tolerated and will be handled accordingly.

Since we are holding this lan party as a fund raiser additional donations (cash or prizes) will be greatly appreciated... and you can write it off in your taxes as a charity donation
