So the entire point of the game is ridiculous stealth, using all...well most your senses particularly hearing to locate your enemy.

Game Title: Borg Ninjas (Team Elimination?)
Game Type: Borg - no more than *20 players at a time.
Squads of 2-4players
Borg: doubles, triplets, and quads*

Spawning
Starting Ammo: 1337** - if borg players SHARE ammo multiple by squad size.
**my reasoning for this is low ammo makes people not camp and conserve, but if you think it�s too little adjust it accordingly**
Starting Energy: 3 *** per player in the squad
Starting Lives: 2 *** per player in the squad

***so if you�re doing doubles 6E4L, triplets 9E 6L, Quads 12E 8L***
-all dependant on the correct amount of players to make the game not crowded-

Points gained for a tag: (Up to you score never mattered for me being the last man standing is my goal, but I understand the need for a score)

-The reasoning for this is if you lose a life, you NEED to go hide find a place to restart and sneak around, gives you plenty of time to get to your spot without making noise-

GEMs: none MAYBE Ammo since GEMs cannot be turned off. - whichever works better-
Notes:
No music or VERY low music - depends on the natural noise the arena makes if the upstairs creaks and the wood doesn�t absorb much sound some light music would be good. Vegetto (Diesel) and I are hosting a 50 person lan party as a fund raiser for the Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company. All money raised will be donated to the fire company. This is a "test" lan to see if this will be a viable fundraiser. If this is successful then we will be able to do this on a frequent basis with more people, games, and prizes.

When: 6:00 p.m. Friday April 9th to 6:00 p.m. Friday April 10th.

Where: The banquet hall at the Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 - 4188 Lehigh Drive - Cherryville PA, 18035

Price: $25 in advance $30 at the door. Unlimited fountain drinks will be provided for $5.

What to bring:
* Computer
* Monitor - LCD preferred, if you are bringing a CRT please notify us in advance. If you have to have multiple monitors there is an additional charge for each monitor. This is due to the extra space and power requirements.
* Mouse & mouse pad
* Keyboard
* Power cables
* Headset - Do not bring speakers!
* network cable*
* Surge Strip*
* Driver's license or photo id - This will be required at check-in.
* Money - Cash is preferred method of payment for the registration fee and it never hurts to have some extra cash when traveling.

*Depending on how much extra money we have in our budget we may be providing this. Bring it just to be on the safe side.

Games: All games are for the PC.
* Team Fortress 2
* Left 4 Dead
* Left 4 Dead 2
* Unreal Tournament 2004
* Counter Strike
* Counter Strike Source
* What ever else we can think of

Make sure that you have updates for all of your games, not just the ones listed, it's never good to show up to a lan and spend half of it updating games. We will do our best to have patches on local servers but we can not get everything.

Food and Drinks:
* For $5 you can purchase unlimited fountain drinks (Pepsi, Mt. Dew, Root beer, Sierra Mist, Diet Pepsi and Lipton Iced Tea)
* Light Snacks will be provided free of charge (Chips, Pretzels)
* Foods such as pizza, wings, etc will be available

Rules and restrictions:
* **No One Under 18 Years Old** I know that age doesn't equal maturity but this was done for two reasons: 1) The lan is considered an official Fire company event, as such having minors present would required additional paper work and legal stuff (parental consent, insurance, etc) and unfortunately we do not have the time. 2) Most companies that actively sponsor lan parties require photos of the event to be sent in that can be used for advertising purposes. As previously mentioned this creates legal issues that we don't have the time to work with for this lan. I apologize if this prevents you from attending.
* No Weapons (large knives, guns, swords, rocket launchers, etc) will be allowed, leave them at home.
* Provide your own transportation. I know this is obvious but it is up to you to get there whether it be driving or finding a ride from someone.
* Make sure you have a up to date anti-virus program and run a scan before coming to the lan. If you think you might have a virus please make sure it is removed before you connect to the network.
* Alcohol is not allowed.
* Don't be an ass. Everyone is here to have fun and I know that we all have our nerd rage moments (especially when playing HoN) but know when to stop.
* Harassment, assault, theft, etc will not be tolerated and will be handled accordingly.

Darklight Blazer Regional Tournament March 6th and 7th

Hi all,

Blazer in Austin Texas is having a regional Darklight tournament on March 6th and 7th. Blazer hosts a huge 10,000+ sq. foot arena that has not just one but 2 levels^^
This is perhaps the number 1 Darklight arena in the world that host regular league games every week.
The cost of the tournament is only $40 and your guaranteed to get in a lot of games (including practice games before the tournament time).

The players and staff are excited and happy to welcome anyone who would like to have a great experience!

Players should arrive by 10:30PM on March 6th for rules and captains meeting.

What dates would work best for you, ideally? How big is your group going to be? Let's steer away from Christmas break...

If you must do a weekend, which is my suspicion...because of your unique gametype I'm going to recommend booking it for the last two hours we are open. The public may be frustrated by this game so we need to aim for when people may not be in every single game slot and work around that.

Awesome tournament! I had a great time. Everyone is getting better and the tournament ran very smoothly with no mishaps. Thanks Columbia Darklight for putting your best techs on job duty. They did an outstanding job^^ Thanks everyone. It really meant a lot for you guys to travel so far to play in my backyard. I'm hope you had fun and your welcome back anytime^^
